Review on Right Return Spring 51247204366 51247204367 by Jim Diaz

You probably don't need the left spring

The boot lid of my BMW F10 was jumping. Although only the passenger side spring dampens the lid opening, I decided to replace the driver side spring (which raises the lid) as well. Replacing the spring on the passenger side solved the lid bounce issue. As other reviewers pointed out, the replacement spring on the passenger side was defective and broke almost immediately. I reinstalled the original spring on the driver's side and the trunk lid works perfectly. If your trunk opens wildly, the driver's side spring probably doesn't need to be replaced, and that replacement is unreliable.
