I made the wise decision to purchase a hand mixer from Revain Basics. It is powerful and does my mixing job very quickly. I've always liked hand blenders because they save time and effort when using a stand mixer. Put the blender directly into a pot with hot or cold food and blend directly in the pot. It's stainless steel, so using it in hot liquids is a blessing. I usually use it to make smoothies and mix soups. And don't forget to mix the lentils for my dal tadka.
