But you need a ground loop isolator for that. In fact, this is not the fault of the bloc as such. It simply means that the USB port I plugged it into shares a ground with the factory stereo. This creates a ground loop in the form of an audible howl when I rev the engine. Again, not the fault of the SB360. I suppose it could come with a built in ground loop isolator but no other product I've seen does that. As I said it does everything it says it does but one area where the SB360 excels is that ground loop isolator. I used to use a similar Bluetooth product that allowed me to hear my phone through an auxiliary input in the car. This also required a ground loop isolator. Ground loop isolators are (almost without exception) passive. This means that the input signal levels drop a bit and sometimes you can't get the volume as high as you'd like. I was able to crank the car stereo volume all the way up and it still wasn't (sometimes) as loud as I'd like. This can be annoying at times, especially on the freeway. However, this does not apply to the SB360. I don't know if it has a slightly higher output level than other similar devices, but I can crank the volume up the way I've always wanted. I also had a Belkin that does the same thing as the SB360 but for $50. -60 for that. It was sold with my last car. If I had to choose between another Belkin and the SB360, I would choose the SB360. For $17 you can't go wrong. Again, just look for a built-in passive ground loop isolator - they're $7-10 on Revain and get the job done perfectly.
