Bought this to cut my boys hair. I have previously had other similar hair clipper sets with no problems. It has 2 major disadvantages. First, at the lowest setting, there isn't enough trimming to get a nice and precise "cut" around the neck and ears. This malfunction also takes longer to cut in these areas. Second, attachments are just very poorly designed. They don't have the right angles to mix hair length with current styles and all 4 lengths are very similar. It's just not a set for universal haircuts. If you want to shave the entire length of your head without paying too much attention to detail, that's fine. However, I wanted a kit that would allow me to get a quality haircut at home and it can't. waste of money.
