Does what it's supposed to, but it's big and a bit clumsy. The biggest complaint is the lack of tactile feedback on the timer button. You can't tell if you clicked and started the timer or not - started and stopped the timer multiple times just to make sure it was up and running. It takes a beep or something to tell the user "Yes, I'm running now". It's too big to put under the espresso machine to measure/weigh a portion. And the rubber mat on top is textured with a diamond print that captures every coffee bean in your home and holds up despite vigorous shaking and brushing. The carpet must be absolutely flat. All in all, it's still a decent scale.
