Possibly damaged element

So far so good. I've only had it for a few days and today I used it on a video I was making. Although when I opened it yesterday the front of the TX was open so I clicked on it. For a moment I thought it was the battery compartment, but then I remembered they were rechargeable. I'm thinking about returning it, maybe the glue holding it closed is dry? I am not sure.
