I have previously tested 5 different brands/models of HDMI 4k extenders and they all had their issues except this one. My use case is video from Nvidia Shield TV to Denon receiver to HDMI extender via can6a about 30ft to Epson projector. The image even appears behind the splash screen (most other models didn't go behind the splash screen) and in 4k (that was another brand's problem), and CEC mostly works. The shutdown command on the Nvidia Shield turns the projector off, but unfortunately waking up the Shield TV with the Shield Remote doesn't consistently wake the projector up. Sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it works (although it often takes up to a minute) but to be honest I really can't fault the power strip, it could be any device in the chain (a projector actually I'm guessing) and it worked as well or even better than any other device I tested. A little advice. After some rack work (I trimmed the Cat6a cable coming out of the unit) when I plugged in the power strip the power button was blinking red and no other lights came on and there was no image on the screen. Turns out I plugged the Cat6a cable in the exact opposite direction and apparently it didn't work. Just a tip if you have no picture and the red power light is flashing: check your cable connection.
