I use two types of packing tape to pack boxes: light packing tape and heavy packing tape. This is a thicker version of the tape. I mainly use this tape to reinforce the box's seams, the seams that need strength to keep the box from falling apart during shipping. I use it in combination with the lighter and brown 6 pack Scotch Lightweight Shipping Tape for secondary reinforcement of less important seams. Spend money wisely and know which tape to use for the right purpose. Floor. It's really annoying. Minus two stars.
