Review on Timex T5K753 Ironman Trainer Watch by David Kits

Good enough to just know “how many miles”

I bought this watch about a month ago. It's very functional but a little less intuitive to use. However, don't let that confuse you. You're not buying a top-of-the-line product for the price. If you want a lot of features, you spend more money. I strongly recommend that a new user read the quick start guide and follow the instructions. One note I'd like to make for anyone who may have trouble when your activity log is full and you can't use the GPS: - To clear some (or all) data you need to go into VIEW mode (not START DATA) , as in the online instructions. I was quite upset and sent a quick message to Timex and they told me the direction was wrong. So in short, VIEW to see all workouts and then follow the uninstall instructions. Hope this helps and saves someone the headache (and frustration) when the chrono is full and you want to know the distance!

Pros
  • 30 workout logs, SiRF starIV GPS technology, Indiglo night light, real-time pace, speed and distance or average date
Cons
  • Something else
