At first glance, this watch looks great, but the user experience is disappointing, almost to the point of being unusable. Thing is, it's so close that a firmware update might fix it. The problem is how he uses GPS in training. When you start "Run" you can choose whether you want to use GPS or not. Selecting and confirming GPS will attempt to find satellites and get a fix. ***Updated July 2015***. The strap was repaired by Timex with just a few bucks to pay for shipping the watch back - all fine. The problem is that the watch doesn't hold a charge. I can fully charge the watch and by the time I get a GPS fix the charge drops to 50 or 40%. I removed all memory to see if that helps - doesn't help.
