When I got this I was expecting an upgrade from my old one. I was using it pretty well when I noticed my hair was a little drier than usual. Nothing serious so I just put it down to swimming last weekend. Fast forward a week or so. My daughter was late for school and needed a hair dryer. She mentioned that her hair was messier than usual, but didn't mention the blow dryer. Later that day I connected the dots and switched to my old hair dryer. Of course my hair was softer again after the second day with my old hair dryer. I took a minute to read the packaging carefully when I realized the low setting matched the high setting on my old hair dryer. This one is much stronger and gets much hotter. So as long as you understand the heat in it and how fast and powerful I can be. I recommend it. If you already have dry hair, this may not work for you. They are similar to those used in salons, they dry the hair very quickly and make it super smooth. This is a great hair dryer that will cut your drying time in half. It's a bit lighter than my old Remington and definitely a lot quieter than the old one I've had for about ten years now. Here is the guardian!
