I have a three story house with wooden floors. I bought it with the intention of running it all night and moving it from floor to floor over the course of a week. Pros: The suction was strong and it picked up everything, not just small items like dust, crumbs, etc., but also, for example, small leaves on the carpet next to the door. It was quiet too. We could watch TV when it was on silent mode and it wasn't distracting. While the normal mode is louder when I was on the second floor and he was on the first floor I only heard a slight hum. The battery life was impressive. Cons: If it bumped into something (e.g. wall, corner, furniture, etc.), it might rotate 120-160Β° and continue, then repeat when it bumped into something else. The problem is that it constantly cleans the same spot. The sensors seemed to move the device around the oval, and it didn't work well when moving from one room to another. So he worked eight hours, but he only vacuumed one room, maybe two, but the room was vacuumed two or three times. He also had trouble finding a charging station, and when he did, he wasn't very good at docking. I often had to intervene to keep it charged. Based on my experience I think this is great for a fully open floor plan. This is not so productive for floor plans with rooms. In the end I returned it.
