It's hard because I've had a great deal of respect for Maxell over the years. I have even protected Maxell CDs and told my wife that her computer and burner must be defective as Maxell is high quality and will never cause problems. I recorded the music for the first four CDs in a 50 pack and none of them played on my car CD player. All I got were error messages. A disc started playing, then stopped and an ERROR message appeared. Out of interest, I tried again to write to one of the discs. My wife's burner recognized it as a "blank" disc and tried to burn it again. However, it will not play in a CD player. Disappointing and very confusing at the same time. Maxell dominates the recorded music industry and you can't go wrong with their products. They were the best in terms of tape quality - reel to reel, cassette etc. I think CDs are different. Maxell simply couldn't transfer its "analog" standard of excellence to "digital". What a shame and a big disappointment. Return of two CDs with 50 packs of Revain. I had to give one star to post this review. It is a pity.
