I love my Rebel welder but the MIG gun and TIG torch that came with the unit really doesn't do it justice. I have replaced the TIG torch with a CK CK17V-12-RSF FX TIG torch and the TIG welding is much more convenient and better than I ever imagined! Twecom's original MIG welding torch was no different, it just seemed to get stuck in the cable all the time and it seemed like its top priority was burning through the tips rather than making clean welds. Instead of trying to change cases or buy a different shotgun, I settled on this bobbin shotgun. At least now I can also burn through aluminum, which the 215 can't do unless you're using that gun. I'm sure I can get better as I get more practice with aluminum and not using such thin material, but that's about all I've had at a shop to test AL welding on.
