Review on Exo Terra Small High Screen Terrarium for Enhanced SEO by Julia Cano

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I found this terrarium very handsome and easy to use.

The terrarium fits well and is surprisingly spacious. It seems to be holding its shape and working as intended. The only two caveats are: 1) The entire bottom is a tray and it just slides in/out with a gap big enough for my reptiles or insects to easily cross the rim of the bottom tray and get out of the bottom or get crushed can in the gap if I am lifting the cage in the wrong place at the moment. So I added a black laminated foam bottom panel to the case and then placed the bottom shell on top. The hull is now a fully sealed box, at least up to the mesh level. 2) The rotary latches will fall back when you close or open the door after you release them. So you can't hold a pet, a plate, or something important in one hand and open a door with the other. Ultimately, you have to somehow keep the two latches at a distance while fully opening the door behind them, or closing the door behind them again. This seems like a simple design issue, but it can be annoying for the end user who doesn't want to put anything while the box is being serviced.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
