Ok where to start? The Smatree tripod/selfie stick is amazing. I wasn't expecting much for the $ but lo and behold I'm shocked at the quality. I have a pair of El'cheapo selfie sticks that flex like a fishing rod when pulled, regardless of the weight of the mount. This thing, fully extended, solid, perfectly straight. The twistlocks on each section are positive and stay locked. The ball mount with 1/4x20 thread is made of aluminum and looks solid. The three-legged, detachable short part is made of durable aluminum with rubber tips on the leg ends to prevent slipping. It also has a 1/4x20 threaded aluminum top. The rubber grip area on the selfie stick part has a nice grip, doesn't feel cheap, seems attached well. It has a hand strap, but it's useless if you want to use the tripod legs as an arm extension. I wish the tripod legs had a rubber coating as the aluminum is nice but slippery when hands are wet/dusty. . The diameter of the extended legs is about 12 inches. The overall length when folded is 19 inches. Extended tripod with selfie stick when folded Total height 14 inches. Overall height in fully extended position 38.5" +/- 0.5".
