The name says it all. I have other Lisle tools that work great so I had high hopes for this gasket screwdriver set, especially since it has adapters for working with shielded gaskets (ie protruding rubber dust shields). But, unfortunately, this product turned out to be terrible in many respects. MANUFACTURE As mentioned in other reviews, many of the plastic washer adapters have burrs from the injection molding process that were not properly removed during manufacture. Despite being plastic, they were sharp enough to be concerned that they might damage the rubber seal. Also, when I picked up the pen, I noticed that my hand was covered in what appeared to be glitter. It turns out that this "shine" was actually aluminum fragments left over from the knurling process. It's as if the person who rolled the pen simply wrapped it without cleaning it first. The last thing you want next to an open gear is scrap aluminum. It took several washes with soap and water to remove the aluminum splinters before the tool was ready for use. FEATURES While using plastic for a rubber grommet screwdriver set may seem like a good idea at first, it worked terribly (not at all in my case). ). The plastic absorbs the energy of the hammer as you try to drive the seal in. Also, the tool requires the use of a steel disc to support the plastic discs to keep them from failing prematurely, but the problem is that they only come with one disc. This is the size of the largest screwdriver in the set. So if you try to install a smaller seal, you are essentially doing so blindly, as you cannot see the seal itself or the surrounding area. It was extremely tiring to use. Not to mention the shielded gaskets proved useless. After all, this set seems to be the solution to the problem. Aluminum and steel actuators have been around for a long time and work great. I spent so much time messing around with the Lisle set that I just gave up and ran to Harbor Freight and bought their Maddox set and got the seal in minutes.
