This is a 6 way dowel which takes up space in a 2 way dowel box as it needs to be pushed into the bottom top spout. and the bottom starting mass (a plastic tab that I wouldn't recommend removing). So far it's working well but be aware of 3 things: 1. The item is not exactly as shown in the picture and comes with a very bright blue status LED that is on all the time so you wouldn't want this in your bedroom if you are a light sleeper .2. The 6 plugs are initially stuck and are very difficult to connect. You need to force the plug into the outlet a few times before it turns on more easily.3. It requires 2 outlets on your wall due to the physical metal ground and plastic ground lug.
