Bought this cable 4 months ago when I bought a new iPhone. I haven't used it that much. But this week I was going on a trip, so I decided to take it with me to use my favorite headphones. The audio had always been tinny, but it was starting to generate random noise. Even if no sound was played. Even after adjusting the cable, cleaning the Lightning connector and dusting the Lightning connector on the phone itself. Then it stopped working fully and the phone itself reads the connector as wet. There was no condensation on this cable. So I'm in good shape to be involved in this now.
