I wanted so badly to love this meter but it just didn't work right. The physical equipment is really good. The ability to remove the light sensor from the body is excellent. You can use it for one-handed use, but you can also place the sensor on top of the selfie stick to move it away from your body if you're taking more sensitive readings and don't want your body shadowed. The user interface was unwieldy at best (and that's generous). I understand Americans should have been metric decades ago, but we didn't. I need the counter to constantly read data into FC as I can't use Lux. Other counters give you a toggle button. This? Press and hold this button, then wait for the blink, then press this button, then press this button, then press this button and wait for the change to be accepted. Let me repeat that again. We use FC. I can't send this counter to one of my employees and try to explain to them how to change this setting and have them do it over and over again all day. Every time you turn off the meter or put it into sleep mode, you have to set it up again. And that's just to get the right units! The frustration doesn't start with explaining what the UI looks like. Apparently they have another model that doesn't. Buy another.
