It is impossible to use, a bad product.

I bought this scanner today and was disappointed. Before that, I used an old, old Epson Stylus Photo TX650 MFP to scan photos (this is not an advertisement, you can’t buy it anywhere for a long time). The quality suited me, but an MFP is an MFP, you can’t take it anywhere with you, it takes up a lot of space and weighs decently.

But it turned out that the scan quality of the new scanner is much worse. Compared to photography, it feels like I used to shoot with a DSLR, but now I switched to a Chinese smartphone. For comparison, I attach the same area scanned by the old and new scanners at 600dpi.

By the way, don't get fooled by 2400dpi. This manufacturer does not indicate the number of dots per inch, but the resolution. But even when scanning at 1200dpi, the clarity of the photo does not increase.

Pros

— Weight, dimensions - More or less smart software (the scanner itself cuts the photos that I scan in one go and pretty well) - You can put it vertically on a stand, but I still don’t understand why this is and how to scan then

Cons

- Quality! I expected more - Price, because with such scanning quality one could buy some Chinese noname at half the price - Vietnamese plastic sucks, the Canon logo is just a sticker in the recess. In general, everything is the cheapest. - I noticed that a couple of times in the photo the lines moved a little, as if someone moved the photo a little while scanning. This effect can be compared even with games when v-sync is disabled.
