beautiful, easy to install and comfortable

Excellent. Came under Prime in two days. The material is great and looks great. The unit comes with an attached assembly that fits into the 7/8 inch rack that most bikes use. It took me a few minutes to remove the existing saddle and a few more minutes to put the new one in and tighten the bolt. It looks great and offers the same comfort as the original English Brooks saddle I once had on my Hercules bike. This saddle is lightly padded (a little more in the back than the front) but has a good shape and fit. It's not very soft, but relatively hard. Good for comfort. The vintage look is definitely there with the rivets and all. Update: This is my third season with this seat. Still works well. So far there has been practically no wear and tear. The mount was excellent and holds securely to the seatpost. There are practically no creaks or unwanted vibrations. Despite the relatively little padding, the uniform fits well, so I felt comfortable in it. We drive about 600-900 km a year. Our longest ride at one time is about 90 minutes on paved trails and roads. I weigh about 195 pounds and the seat and springs give me no support or suspension issues. Update September 2020: I've ridden over 2,500 miles on this saddle in a few years. The clamp that attaches the seat to the saddle rails in the bow is broken. The metal is an alloy, not steel. I managed to get the rest of the yoke off and now using a 1.25" washer just below the guides I have attached the guide in the nose to the bolt coming down from the saddle. The original nut now holds it together with the washer holding the rail in place. It's very tough now, but the nose has never been springy to begin with. I think this fix is for sure, but time will tell. Can't tell if 2500 miles for a $30 saddle is a good deal or not. It is still in use. Comfort is good but maybe not the best. It's shaped and stiff, but comfortable enough for my rides, which are typically less than 90 minutes at a time. I love the look of this saddle for my early 1970's English Hercules bike. The original seat was a vinyl covered extended Brooks spring seat and a foam padded Brooks seat. Back then, Brooks made non-leather seats for less expensive English everyday bikes.
