I have an external dock/cloning station that I used to back up my Windows files to one of my legacy 1TB hard drives and it looks like it's collecting dust. It takes up less than half the space and looks twice as good! The fan is quiet and feels comfortable. The red "on" LCD turns blue when data is received and the off button is easily accessible. Backing up all my files almost filled the 1TB drive by half. No wonder Windows kept talking about a backup location! And like a Zoom meeting, it's disabled (and secure) when you don't need it and doesn't add heat to your computer case.
