I live in the country and only have satellite or terrestrial TV. When I moved into my house, it already had a satellite dish on the roof with a coaxial cable attached. I climbed onto the roof and removed the dish and put it on, the coax from the roof to the splitter is about 50. I then hooked up another 100ft of coax from the splitter to the power supply and was happy to see I could still switch it on and rotate the antenna. So I can confirm that you can connect the antenna with a 150ft coax cable. After hooking up a new coaxial cable to my TV in the basement, I was thrilled to see my TV go from recognizing channels from 0 to over 50! I bought a DVR system for recording TV shows, now I can watch all my favorite TV shows for free. The only COMPLAINING I have is the included 30ft coax cable, it's cheap and for some reason doesn't work with an AC adapter, it just slides right over the female end and doesn't tighten, but I'll say that it works with other female coax ends like my tv and wall outlet. The other coaxial male ends fit into the female coaxial end of the device. It's really strange that the coax cable you get doesn't match the device it's supposed to be connected to, but then again the coax cables look really cheap, they're unobtrusive, I wouldn't use what's in the box was I would focus on her. Get your own if you need to plug it in.
