Type of review

0 channels before the antenna, 18 channels after it. Get all the local channels (VERY CLEAR) around WITHOUT having to pay a monthly fee for channel packages which I'll never watch anyway. The only downside I can think of was the cheap coax cable - the coax connector didn't rotate freely at all. . . It was very difficult to twist the antenna connector. After removing and reinstalling 2 or 3 times (trying to find the best place to install) the wire end broke! Luckily for me. I can buy coax cable…

Excellent signal/amplifier for OTA-TV

The unit was very easy to assemble despite being mostly plastic. However, I held it in my hand before mounting it on a pole to make sure it worked well and after the TV had scanned 117 channels I put the unit on the floor and it switched channels smoothly and worked really well . I had no problems with the cable that came with it and the motor ran fine as long as I rotated it 360° to find my best signal. I was impressed. The only question now is how will it handle the hot/humid weather in South

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Requires socket

waste of time. annoying red light. closer to 150 feet than 150 miles

They don't broadcast antenna. They send you parts to assemble the antenna. For example, instead of making producers pay a quarter portion of rice for the work done at the factory, the customer has to mount the paddles ("vibrators") on a frame and carefully line up the holes so the paddles can be used. I thought I was buying an antenna, not a kit! The power supply has a bright red light on the front, adding to the viewing pleasure. You must point the remote control at the power source, so…

Worked great! only one flaw

I live in the country and only have satellite or terrestrial TV. When I moved into my house, it already had a satellite dish on the roof with a coaxial cable attached. I climbed onto the roof and removed the dish and put it on, the coax from the roof to the splitter is about 50. I then hooked up another 100ft of coax from the splitter to the power supply and was happy to see I could still switch it on and rotate the antenna. So I can confirm that you can connect the antenna with a 150ft coax…

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Works better than expected but has to use all the hardware

We got rid of Direct TV a few years ago and I bought these flimsy antennas for each TV which worked fine but the channels cut out from time to time. When we moved in I said I would buy an attic antenna and share it with all of our TVs. It was easy to put together and I put it in the attic thinking I wouldn't hook up an amp to save power. I checked a signal app to make sure I was pointing it in the right direction and maybe 50 channels were coming in but NBC had a very weak signal. I was…

DOA engine not working

UPDATE: Contacted Revain product support and spoke to them. They said I can't make a replacement as this product was sold through a third party. I had to reorder another antenna while they sent a return label for my existing product. It was very easy to communicate and work with Revain PS and any issues were handled with ease. Now just wait for next day delivery and see if the new product arrives in perfect condition. After troubleshooting, it's either the motor or the power supply (hopefully…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
