Sturdy, saves a lot of space
I have folding chairs in the garage for poker night. I had to buy some more chairs but didn't like that they just leaned against the wall. This freed up floor space and leveled the garage. Warning: just make sure you know the distance between the studs. The cleats in my garage are wider than in the house, but there is one spot where the 2x4 goes horizontally, I was able to secure it.
