Review on Glaze Seal Enhancer Sealer Gallon Car Care by Joseph Brendemuehl

Hardens polymer sand perfectly!

I bought it on purpose because it is written that it hardens to the joints. It definitely delivers on what was promised on that front! He hardened the soft sand to look like concrete. I thought the Enhance function would only make the color richer. This makes the cobblestones look wet like I hosed them down. However, the surface is not glossy. I agree because I wanted a matte finish. All in all, I'm happy with the final look. In terms of application, I applied the first coat with a garden sprayer that you pump up and down. Following the directions I used a foam squeegee to spread/wipe off any excess frosting to avoid custard. The paving slab has a beveled edge and the first layer does not appear to lay evenly using this method. It was difficult to apply the glaze to the seams without applying too much of it to the pavers themselves. For the second (additional) layer, I opted for a cheap chip brush. I wanted to coat the joints better because the first layer didn't get into the joints well with the garden sprayer. The brush worked MUCH better and I wish I had applied the first coat with a brush from the start. Next time the pavers need sealing (hopefully not in a few years) I will first paint the pavers with a deep pile roller and then apply the glaze to the joints with a brush. I think this results in a more even finish and is the best way to ensure the grout is well covered. I was able to seal a patio about 10 feet by 7 feet with 1 gallon.
