To be honest I liked how it looked with 5.25 dual mids, looked cool. But it didn't sound as cool as I thought it would, not as crisp and clean as I expected (although I switched from Martin Logan Motion 6, which is worth the coin). I also turned up the volume, which caused the speakers to crackle during fist punches or fight scenes. If you're wondering, I'm using an older one (marantz 5010 7.2). If I'm just starting out I'd say it's definitely a beginner center. So if you're just starting to create your surround sound, give it a try, but if you're doing a channel replacement center and your current or old center just won't cut it, it's not the center for you. Also, I don't swear by Polka because I still use two 265-RTs as my front left and right speakers, so I guess having said it just comes down to your pocket and ear.
