I have a rescue. He is cheeky and requires a lot of patience to train him. Especially when I was trying to teach him to stop pulling so hard when walking. The treats didn't work, the clicker didn't work, and telling him to stop pulling didn't work. I was very hesitant to buy this collar thinking it would cause my dog a lot of pain. But after some research I found out that it's not as strong as I thought it would be. Anyway, he was shocked on day one when he started pulling while walking and learned to stop pulling pretty quickly. It took a little while, but he was beginning to get the idea. I felt it worked well for my rescue.
