I would probably use a little more than compacted styrofoam to protect ONLY the top and bottom of the ceramic pineapple. I see there was no need to protect the center of the ceramic piece, a napkin thin box filled with air was an excellent preventive measure. Oh the coolest thing was getting my blood drawn when I grabbed what appeared to be a whole pineapple to take it out of the box and look at it, it was fun. Update: I was wrong, this is NOT ceramic. Still sharp fragile product. I also found an Amazon verified sticker on the box that I forgot to mention.
