Damages wood finishes. Do not use on finished surfaces.

If you are looking for the clear plastic disks that to place between wooden furniture and a glass top, THESE ARE NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT. These have a softer feel, are thicker and, although they didn't feel like it upon application, have some adhesive. Adhesive softens finishes. I added these "protectors" to fine wooden furniture glass tops when we moved. A year later I had a new piece of glass cut to better fit a desk and the "rubber" (or whatever they are) stuck like glue. Fortunately the glass company gave me a handful of the right protector disks. I immediately, and with some difficulty, replace all of them. Bits of the furniture finish stuck to the disks and I had to use a solvent to remove the gum from the glass.

Pros
  • Shock-absorbing technology for enhanced safety
Cons
  • They aren't easy to cut to size for different surfaces
