Review on 💧 High-performance GE RPWFE Refrigerator Water Filter - Clean & Pure Water Guaranteed by Mark Hart

I've read reviews where people said they cut electronic circuitry off a filter and replaced it with their current filter to trick their device and make it think to bring a new filter was fitted. I read another review that said once the filter counted down to zero days your fridge would stop leaking water or forming ice. In my case, none of these statements apply. I ordered this filter as a direct replacement for my GE fridge (August 2018) which we have had for just over 6 months. Apparently, the device counts the number of days and issues a warning that the filter needs to be replaced. Nice reminder feature but doesn't take your water source into account. That means you're using a well, city water, or you already have a reverse osmosis filtration system. In my case, the water in the device comes from a reverse osmosis system. The water that flows through the filter in the device is already filtered "pharmaceutical grade" water. I daresay my filter does NOT need to be changed every 6 months if at all! Now we see a warning from our fridge that we are 14 days after the filter change and the water is continuing to flow and ice is forming from it. From now on I ignore the warning on my fridge.
