Review on Mednition Clinical Data Engine by Chris Burns
Very useful tool for medical coding and documentation
We use this software as part of an EMR system (Cerner) at my organization. I have been able to utilize it very well with little or no training required by me since its inception. This has made using other features much easier than if we had not used medNITION initially. There isn't anything about which i dislike except perhaps having too many options available sometimes when utilizing certain functions within the program. Using Cerner's database capabilities such as linking notes from different departments together can be difficult without some assistance through another piece like medNTION.
Pros
- Its relatively easy for users even those new ones who may lack tech saviness
- The platform is fast, responsive & reliable compared others.
- Ability/easily update patient information once completed in one room that was previously inputted elsewhere via paper forms into our main electronic health record portal(ehealthconnect)
- In addition there are additional platforms offered under their umbrella including data management services etc
