Excellent absorbency and water repellency!

This material is great for absorbing or catching oily substances without soaking in water. I had a particular need to remove the kerosene from the sump when a pump seal failed without priming the water. A few streaks of it over the course of a few days cleared it up pretty well. Also great for placing under items that may leak oil or during maintenance when you don't want water to pool in the liner.

Pros

Eight layers of 100% Polypropylene are thermally bonded making the Pig Mat the strongest mat on the market; will not rip, tear or peel even when saturated
