Review on Komelon SM5425 Gripper Acrylic Measuring Tape: Reliable Precision and Easy Handling by John Vann

If you are looking for a basic 25ft tape measure for general household use this Komelon SM5425 is perfect. I am not a contractor or tradesman by trade so I cannot comment on the durability of this tape measure in everyday use. However, it has a nice rubberized finish that's easy to hold in hand and won't scratch the surfaces it's placed on. The 3.25" (83mm) case is marked on the outside. This allows you to easily increase the overall length if the tape is leaned against a wall or other 90 degree angle. The tape lock works as intended, as does the bracket for Attaches to belt. Tape measure is easy to read and has large font for inch numbers. Each 1/8" grid also displays numbers. Not as common as other tape measures I've used, but definitely welcome. The only one The downside of this tape measure is that it doesn't show metric measurements, so if you need to measure using a metric, you'll need a different tool.
