This really works great at detecting any little accidents your little furry child may have left behind. I bought this to find any accidents my little fur baby might have left when I rented my Bissell so I can deep clean my carpet from some old accidents that I had previously cleaned but had left a stain. The spots were so minor that I needed a light because I wanted them to go away completely. It worked wonderfully. I managed to find and get rid of them. However, the room should be as dark as possible.
