The smallest needles and a terrible needle threader

I haven't used it. This is in case of an emergency sewing kit. I just moved into a small apartment and wanted to have it handy. Good size for travel too. Today I used this item for the first time. The needles are very thin and small. Threader shouldn't be used, it's a piece of junk. I am 70 years old; I am not weak; I wear glasses; I can thread a needle... it took me half an hour. What a pain in the neck.
