To be honest my heart sank today when I went to the front door and picked up the box of it. The whole end of the box was broken by the carrier. No surprises, but I haven't seen how sea urchin shells could survive that. Hence the photo. Not only have they survived and arrived in perfect condition, but they also amaze with a variety of colors and sizes. Yes there are always natural variations which is why natural things are so cool but from what I can tell this particular seller took extra care to send a wide variety of shells. They didn't all choose the smaller, less colorful shells, which isn't unusual. This is a good balanced strain. This set ranged in size from 2-1/2 to 3-1/4 inches (measured).
