Review on πŸ’ͺ Intel Core i5-3570 Quad-Core Processor: Fast 3.4 GHz Speed and 6 MB Cache for High-Performance Computing - LGA 1155 Compatible (BX80637I53570) by Jnis Uptis ᠌

There are a few bugs, basically the norm.

If we take the processor as a gaming processor from the Core i5 series, then for me 2500K is better, cheaper and faster in an overclocked state. I changed the motherboard with Z68 chipset and 2550K CPU to the motherboard with Z77 chipset and this 3570K processor. The result is disappointing, it heats up more, the performance is less or the same, while the new system now costs 2022 more (I fell for VIRTU and PCI-E 3.0 technology). Still, new processor technologies from Intel are a step forward for mobile devices, and for stationary gaming PCs, it’s not just a step back, but rather a step in the direction of marking time at the expense of mere mortals, IMHO.

Pros
  • Support for Virtualization Technology, a good TDP at standard frequencies, an unlocked multiplier, an HD4000 graphics core and, of course, support for PCI-E 3.0.
Cons
  • At frequencies above 4200 MHz, it gets insanely hot. Weak overclocking potential and as a result, in the overclocking state, the performance is lower than that of the previous generation CPU, for example 2500K.
