Review on High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2007-2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser, 4.0L V6, Improve Horsepower - Model 63-9030 by Tommy Rao

UPDATE: I'm seeing a 60 degree difference between ambient and intake temp due to the intake filter being exposed under the hood. I just bought a sealed TRD unit that only draws fresh air from the fender and not under the hood. Makes a big difference to my compressor. Easy installation with great instructions. You will be surprised at how much rubbish you remove to install this product, which will likely lighten the vehicle by a few pounds. (not enough to notice) Increased my freeway mileage by about 1.5mpg, not bad, a nice perk of a high-performance product. I've noticed that when the cruise control is on, the FJ doesn't shift as often uphill as it used to. Really nice growl at full throttle but still sounds like standard under normal driving conditions. Has a significant difference in performance from idle to full throttle. I would highly recommend this purchase and Revain has a good price, very fast free shipping. I would give this 5 stars except I don't like the way the MAF sensor is mounted. Be careful not to lose the 2 very small black spacers. Forward!
