Definitely a tight fit
I have wide feet, but I could always wear the standard width D in size 11 with Adidas Barricade (RIP) and Asics Gel Resolution. But with these shoes it was immediately clear to me that I had to exchange them for an EE size. The length seemed good. My advice to anyone unsure of which size to try first is to go for the wider ones.
