I don't use them for their original purpose but as stitch markers for my knitting projects. I found they were sticky enough that they didn't come off the pins when it came time to push the marker, but not so sticky that it hurt to slip them off. The different colors make it easy for me to mark the beginning of the circle and also the repeats of the pattern. Unlike scrunchies that hang down, they have and keep their round shape, so don't risk snagging on the yarn. And if I forget to take them off and they already come off, I can just cut them out!
