I was interested in the price of these wipers as I have a 2001 Buick and didn't want to invest a lot of money in wipers. I was pleasantly surprised when I turned on the wipers and saw that they wiped significantly better in the rain than my old wipers. Fast forward a few weeks into January, I had snowy/icy weather. I was hesitant to wash my car because I was just walking down the street trying to use my wipers and the left one broke off where they connect. While this was partly my fault I definitely could have cleaned my car more and put more effort into avoiding this, but I think the shutter is definitely made without the strongest materials. In general, if you live in a place with no appreciable amounts of snow/ice, wipers would suffice OR if, unlike me, you took the time to fully clean your car!
