Review on πŸ”§ WindyNation Momentary Actuator Mounting Brackets by Juan Simpson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Service ok, product no.

The actuator was working normally. I had a serious problem because the screws fell out. I had to send new ones because I got lost when falling down. I'm glad they at least sent me the details. Without the fact that I can work with mechanical things, I would be unlucky. The big problem was with the switch. The first broke after a few hours of use. They sent me a replacement. It broke within the first hour which prevented me from finishing the project with my tractor on our land! 3 times I got stuck due to defective motor or switch without finishing. 2 stars because the customer service wasn't bad. Only slowly. But these articles are not very reliable. :: Update :: It broke a little less than 1 year and about 30 hours of use. The sleeve around the retractable tip is torn. I think it just didn't hold up to what I used it for. If you need a drivetrain for use on a garden tractor's hitch to operate equipment, you need something much more powerful and with 1/2" ends. The 1/4" holes on it and the locking pins just can't take the force.

Pros
  • linear actuator is IP65 certified (suitable for outdoor use). Linear actuator outer material Aluminum 6061 (black powder coated)
Cons
  • Damaged
