Don't get me wrong, these are great pedals. The reason I give them one star is the lack of information and before I ordered them I asked twice how much they weigh! And got no answer. Every time I asked a question I also waited two days so I had enough time to get an answer. Every other pedal set I've looked at has always listed the weight of the pedals. You also get four pucks, as you can see on one of the pictures. Of course, common sense dictates that there's only one place they can go. And perhaps this is a common sight for people who are connoisseurs of bicycles. But if you're new to this, what then? You don't put two on each pedal, do you? And if not, then they're extras, right? I'm just saying this for people who don't know because the list doesn't mention them and there's nothing on the box or in the box that says exactly what to do with them. It probably doesn't matter much, but still. Slightly more importantly, nowhere is it mentioned that you need a giant Allen wrench to tighten them. I know they don't need to be tightened that much, but I'm new to this stuff myself and just assumed the pedals would stay the same as the old ones. Not correct! If you took yours off with a wrench and will tighten them just like me? Well then, take a closer look at the pictures and you'll see that there's nothing to catch with a wrench. It is smooth. Then how are they tightened? Well, it's hard to explain in text, so I took a few more shots. And as you can see, if you turn the pedal shaft towards you, you will see a large hexagonal hole. So once you've hand-tightened it as much as you can, you'll need something that fits in there to give it a final little push to get it tight enough. Must have been living under a rock or something lol but this is my first time seeing this. And even though I had a lot of allen wrenches, I still didn't have anything big enough to fit in. Luckily a friend of mine who is a bike expert did it. Well, as I said, these are good pedals, they are well made and quite attractive. They might be a bit heavier than some of the others here, but it's probably not that noticeable between some of them. Another reason they are a bit heavier than others is that most other pedals I've seen have 12 pins protruding from each clutch pedal, while each of these pedals has 16 prongs protruding from them. for stop! It also seems important. I'm sorry for the lack of information, but it's so common that it's starting to get to you. I'm sure you all buyers know only too well what I mean.
