Really cool machine with good features and great sound. However, it has an obvious weakness. The alarm on this thing isn't particularly easy to use. Too easy to turn off when you're napping. It's a design flaw, but the real faux pas is that it doesn't have a battery backup. If there is a power failure in the house, the device switches itself off. That means this thing is utterly useless as an alarm clock, because who can afford to rely on a device that doesn't work when you've got a power surge or something? If you lose your internet connection and the alarm is set to internet radio or Spotify, you'll drown too, as it won't revert to FM radio or buzzer. It only reproduces silence. In short, if you don't want this thing to be your main alarm clock, I suggest buying it because it sounds great and has a wide range of listening options. If you need this as an alarm, get something else because this thing is a disaster waiting to happen.
