My 2005 Mercury Mountaineer 4.0L SOHC V6 170,000 miles started having a horrible timing chain "rumble" for a few seconds on cold start. After doing a little research and watching a few videos, I decided to get them and give them a try. I primed, mounted and screwed them as described in the video. On the first run I figured I'd have to call Scotty into the engine room and throw out the core :). After a few seconds the noise stopped and hasn't happened since. Subsequent cold starts are absolutely silent. I consider this preventative maintenance and not repairing a damaged timing chain. I have included a picture of the box showing that they are made in Italy and not some sort of Chinese imitation.
