They are amazing, at first I thought "What do I do with a gallon of beer?" But then I got one for Christmas and decided to give it a try. Two things: 1) They're twice the size of most growlers, so you can bring home TWICE as much beer as you normally would if you bought a growler from your local brewery. Not to mention the CO2 setting keeps the beer from getting cold so you can have a beer or two at a time and it will last for weeks instead of a day. 2) I love home brewing but don't have room for carbs and chilling a big (or even pony) keg. So instead I buy two one-gallon kits at once and cook them side by side in my kitchen, which I then ferment and bottle for carbs. But now, after fermenting, I just add it to these and it takes hours to digest, not days. It easily eliminates 75% of the work and 50% of the homebrew time, which brought me back to it after a 5 year hiatus. I was skeptical but now I'm so glad I got one as a gift, I've already bought a second one so I can keep both home made beer and local brewery beer in the fridge.
