This slide out storage unit is sturdy and glides smoothly along its slides.It's a good width and height for most bottom cabinets, which is where I would think you would be most likely to use it. However, I found that while it fits well in the bathroom, the kitchen cabinets are several inches deeper. Because of this, using this unit in the kitchen would basically make a good size portion of the cabinet in the front or back unusable, unless you're happy either (1) reaching over (or removing) whatever is in it to get to something at the back of the cabinet, or (2) having something in front of the unit that you'll have to remove in order to slide it out.So for now this one is for the bathroom and I'll be looking for a larger one for the kitchen.The screws you need to install the unit are included. As shipped, the upper basket goes on the left side of the unit as you see it in the cabinet, as shown in the main picture. It is possible to change it to work the other way, but it involves unscrewing and rearranging parts in the slides to make them slide in the other direction. You then simply turn the basket around. You don't actually move where the upper basket attaches to the lower one. Instructions are included for this procedure.All in all, I'm very happy with this storage unit for my bathroom. I recommend it, but only after you have measured your cabinets and compared your measurements to those of the unit so that you will know how it will fit.
