I have always used Fram filters since I started driving in 1987 and after watching a few videos about them in the filter looked at it looks like wix, k&n, fram, ac delco, motorcraft purolator all cut open and showing what the inside looks like, fram has cardboard on a real filter, wix has metal, if you have oil pressure you need cardboard, to keep the oil inside to get to the filter material? or metal? I will never buy Fram oil filters again after watching these couple of videos. In fact, Wix and K&N are identical in design, why pay 2x more for the K&N name when Wix is identical
